Seahawks Update

A little preview of what you can find here: http://waitforitseattle.com/go-hawks/.

After listening to Brock and Salk’s interview with Head Coach Pete Carroll today, I decided to compile a little update for Seahawks fans out there. Much of this information can be found in other places as well, but let’s be honest…people who read my site don’t read anything else.

1. Both Carroll and General Manager John Schneider (on Mitch in the Morning) stated that when James Carpenter returns from injury, he will compete at the left guard position rather than right tackle. As a first round draft pick (and a stretch pick at that), Carpenter obviously has not lived up to his draft position. He struggled a bit early and then suffered a season-ending knee injury. It appears that Carpenter will now spend the rest of his time as an interior lineman with the Hawks. This is a good thing for both the Hawks and Carpenter. He belongs inside.

Find out more about why Russell Wilson won’t start, why Robert Turbin is awesome (see biceps) and who will be the starting middle linebacker at my Go Hawks! page.
